Governance, Devolution, Peace and Cohesion

Through interventions in this area, the Council aims to strengthen governance at the county and national level and enhance peaceful coexistence. In this regard, NCCK aims to:

• Strengthen institutions and empower communities for democratic, participatory, accountable, and transparent governance.
• Promote dialogue and mediation for peaceful coexistence, national cohesion, tolerance, and enhanced security.
• Strengthen devolution for improved service delivery.
• Influence formulation, reform, and implementation of policies and laws to promote justice, rule of law, and constitutionalism.
